The returning. Gathering.

What a beautiful and at the same time, painful time I had at The Returning.

It is an aboriginal run event for 2nights and 3 days. Originally I was going to be volunteering for all days but my back was flaring up and without being lift up babies or anything, I won’t be useful so I gave up volunteering and just went for a day.

Such a beautiful part of the world, northern NSW.

My “must go” workshops were Breath work and Wayapa Wuurrk by Jem Stone and Tears of liberation by Candice Storey.

I was a bit late to get to Breath work and Wayapa Wuuruk by Jem Stone so it took me a while to settle in but I watched the leaves dancing to the wind, listened to the water running and I was so contained that I was even there. Thanks to my partner Popo to drive all the way.
Wayapa Wuurrk has been something I have been wanting to know and experience for a while as part of me learning about this land I live in currently. Jem is at ease to look at and a calm facilitator to hold all of us beautifully and the way we all stood up and did Wayapa Wuurrk together guided by Jem was so beautiful. Loved the crescent moon to this side and the other side, water and kangaroo itching and resting!

I think this will be another writing I have to do for the Tears of Liberation and deschooling.

This beautiful gathering offered gluten free, vegan meal and BYO cup, plate and cutlery.

Women and kids only gathering this one was. I am so grateful that I was there.
