vegan Amazake porridge recipe

The smell of toasted shredded coconut remind me of those days I used to make vegan Anzac biscuits regularly and I also made those after but this one is a bit special.

So my amazake is made with Koji and rice in rice cooker’s keep warm setting over night usually. You can make a lot in one go and freeze some too.

Anyway, while I was thinking of adding some things to Amazake, instead of adding one things at a time, I added my partner, Popo’s porridge mix.

He makes huge container of this and prepare it the night before for one potion.

His mix has ….

Puffed millet

Chia seeds

Rice flakes

Oats

Cinnamon powder

Maca powder

Sesame seeds

Sun flower seeds

quinoa flakes

hemp powder,

psyllium husk

Linseed

LSA( linseed, Sunflower seeds and almond mix)

Nutmeg

a couple of spoonful of that and my amazake, blueberries and toasted shredded coconut and it was heavenly!

甘酒は炊飯器の保温機能で夜寝てる間に作っちゃいます。 このとき使ったのはお友達のあおいちゃんが

分けてくれたくれた宮本麹さんの乾燥麹。 あとは残りご飯と水。

そこにポポのポリッジミックスを混ぜて火にかけて、ブルーベリーを乗せて、

トーストしたココナッツを半月っぽくして頂きました。

ポポのポリッジに入っているものは上記英語で。

 

彼は前夜にこのミックスにカシューミルクやライスミルクをかけ、バナナをスライスしたものと

冷凍ベリーを入れて冷蔵庫で寝かせて、夏はそのまま食べます。
